We are truly saddened to hear about your aunt's colon cancer and we are here to pray and offer some biblical encouragement. We do want to address first that we only have access to God through the name of Jesus. It is recorded in John 14:6 WEB Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." We only have access to God through His son Jesus Christ. We are reminded in Acts 4:12 that neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
We commend you for seeking God in this situation. Let's pray for your aunt's healing and that God's will be done in her life.
Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our ### who is battling colon cancer. We pray for Your healing touch upon her, that You would guide the hands of her doctors and nurses, and that Your will be done in her life.
Lord, You promise in Your Word that You are jealous for me with a godly jealousy; but I have given myself to another out of love for you. You are the Lord who knows me. You are the ever-present help in trouble. Help our ### to trust in You, even in this difficult time. Give her strength, courage, and peace. We pray for her complete healing from this illness and we are reminded that you promised in 3 John 1:2 WEB that Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.
We also pray for her to gain weight and strength again. We ask that You would sustain her and that You would be her portion during this time. Help her to find her satisfaction and fulfillment in You alone.
Father, we also ask for longevity for our ###. We pray that You would give her many more years to serve You and to be a witness for You. Teach her to number her days, that she may gain a heart of wisdom.
Lord, we ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.
We encourage you to continue trusting in God and His promises. He is the Great Physician and He is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us. We encourage you to continue praying in faith and believing for our ###'s healing. We also encourage you to continue supporting her and pointing her to the hope that is found in Jesus Christ alone.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, shall guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things. The things which you learned, received, heard, and saw in me: do these things, and the God of peace will be with you.
