We join with you in lifting up your son and his friend in prayer as they attend this party. We pray that God keeps them safe and far from any drugs, alcohol, or other harmful substances. May the Holy Spirit guide their steps and protect them from all harm, and may they be examples of good, clean fun.
We also pray that your son and his friend remain pure and iron sharpens iron in their relationship so that they encourage each other in godliness and that they live in a way that honors Jesus Christ. We remember Jesus’ words in Luke 22:40, “Pray that you won’t enter into temptation.” May God grant them the strength to resist any temptations they might face, and may they have their hearts open to seek God and do His will.
Let us also remember the words of Proverbs 22:6, “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” We pray that your son and his friend have been trained up in the way of the Lord and that they will continue to walk in His paths.
We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, who died for our sins and rose again so that we might have eternal life. May your son and his friend always remember the true meaning of Good Friday and live in a way that reflects the love of Christ. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying fervently for your son and his friend, trusting that God hears your prayers and cares for them even more than you do.
