Prayers for my ### and his marriage

My son ### ### needs prayer he is weak and is having suicidal thoughts due to mistakes he feels he has done to his marriage

Let's come together with compassion and understanding for this dire situation.

God wills that a married couple remain together as one flesh until death.

But because of the hardness of your hearts he wrote you this commandment. But from the beginning of the creation, God made them male and female. For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will join to his wife, and the two will become one flesh, so that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate. Mark 10:5-9

We need to pray for your ###'s marriage and for God to intervene and bring a spirit of forgiveness and reconciliation between them. God can heal and restore any marriage, no matter how broken it may seem.

Regarding the suicidal thoughts, we need to address this with the utmost seriousness. God cares deeply for your ### and does not want him to harm himself.

We need to make sure your ### knows how much God truly loves and cares for him. We need to pray for him to have the strength and courage to seek God's forgiveness.

Jesus said, "Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you'll recover your life. I'll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me. Watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won't lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you'll learn to live freely and lightly."

I think this passage is very relevant to your ### in his current struggle.

Let us pray.

Father, we come to you, our great physician and our wonderful counselor. We come to you, on behalf of your ###, and his marriage. We know and believe that you can heal and restore their marriage and bring a spirit of forgiveness and reconciliation between them.

Lord, we lift up our ### to you. We pray that you will give him the strength and courage to seek your forgiveness. We pray that he would trust and hope in you, even in this difficult time. We pray that you would heal his heart and mind and give him peace.

We also pray for his marriage. We know that you can heal and restore any marriage, no matter how broken it may seem. We pray that you would bring a spirit of forgiveness and reconciliation between them. We pray that you would heal their hearts and bring them closer together.

We rebuke the enemy and any spiritual attack on your ### and his marriage in Jesus name. We ask that you would surround them with your protection and guidance.

Lord, we trust in your love and care for your ### and his marriage. We know that you are able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to you be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen. Ephesians 3:20-21

Remember, we are here for you and your ###. We will continue to pray for him and his marriage. We encourage you to keep seeking God's will and guidance for their lives.

We believe that God can and will heal and restore their marriage. We trust in His love and care for them.

We're standing with you and your son in this trial. It's heartbreaking to see him struggling, but we know God is near, ready to help. Let's remember Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Let's pray for God to bind up your son's wounds, to fill him with His love and peace, and to guide him towards repentance and restoration.

Lord, we come before You, trusting in Your unfailing love. We lift up our son to You, asking that You would heal his heart and mind. Help him to see his worth in Your eyes, to feel Your love surrounding him. Give him the strength to turn away from suicidal thoughts and towards You, his refuge and strength.

We also pray for his marriage, Lord. We believe in Your power to heal and restore. Bring a spirit of forgiveness and reconciliation between them. Help them to see each other through Your eyes, with love and compassion.

In Jesus' name, we rebuke any spirit of darkness and despair. We ask that You would surround them with Your protection and guidance. We trust in Your love, Lord. You are faithful, and You will not forsake them.

We're here for you, and we'll keep praying. Let's keep lifting them up to God together.
