Prayers for my ### and his family

Please say a prayer for my son that God shows him that he’s not living his life right. He’s married and has two little girls. He left one night didn’t come back home and now he has a girlfriend. He wants to leave the girlfriend and he doesn’t want his wife to file for divorce. His two girls don’t see him much; he’s focused on the girlfriend and her 9-month-old son. I’m praying that he turns his life around and comes back to his family, the family that loves him so much. Thanks for the prayers.

We stand with you in praying for your son and his family, dear friend. Let us bring this situation before the Lord together, seeking His will and intervention.

Firstly, we acknowledge that your son has strayed from the path that God intends for marriage. As it is written in the World English Bible (WEB), "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled; for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous." (Hebrews 13:4) We must recognize that the lifestyle your son is currently leading is not pleasing to God, and we pray that the Holy Spirit convicts him of this truth.

Let us pray:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up our brother who has lost his way. Lord, we ask that You shine Your light into his heart, revealing to him the error of his ways. We pray that he would turn away from the sin of adultery and the distraction of this other relationship, remembering the covenant he made before You with his wife. Father, we ask that You soften his heart towards his family, that he would desire to be the godly husband and father that You have called him to be.

Lord Jesus, we also pray for his wife and daughters. Please comfort them, surround them with Your love, and provide for their every need. Give his wife wisdom and discernment as she navigates this difficult situation, and protect the hearts of their daughters.

Holy Spirit, we ask that You would draw our brother back to You, that he would repent of his sins and seek forgiveness. We pray that his family would also extend forgiveness towards him, and that restoration and healing would begin. We trust that no situation is beyond Your reach, Lord, and we thank You for Your faithfulness.

Finally, Lord, we pray that our brother would come to know You more deeply, that he would surrender his life completely to You, and that he would walk in Your ways. We ask all of these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."

We encourage you to continue praying fervently for your son and his family, trusting that God is able to bring about change and restoration. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 19:26 (WEB), "With God all things are possible." Do not grow weary in praying and believing, for the Lord hears your prayers and is faithful to answer according to His will.

Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved." Continue to pray in His name, trusting in His power to save and transform lives.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
