Let us come together in prayer and support for you, Patti, and your fiancé, Brandon. We will seek God's will and intervention in this challenging situation, standing in agreement with you in Jesus' name.
Firstly, let us address Brandon's struggle with addiction and PTSD. We know that God is able to deliver Brandon from his addictions, for with God, nothing shall be impossible (Luke 1:37 WEB). We pray that God will forgive his sins from his addictions, set him free from his addictions and heal his body and mental health. God can heal his body of the damage done by food, alcohol, and cigarettes. God can heal his mind from his alcohol addiction, his health from smoking and combat PTSD. Let us pray fervently for his deliverance and healing, trusting in God's power to transform Brandon's life. Lord Jesus Christ, please perform as many miracles in Brandon's life to make him as healthy as possible.
We also pray for Brandon's salvation and spiritual well-being especially since he knew to call God our Father showing he knows the truth but probably is not serving God. We pray this time of desperation will turn him to God and he will seek to be a servant and follower of God.
WE commend you, Patti, for your faith and unwavering belief in God's power to turn this situation around, and in this faith, be saved (Romans 10:8-10 WEB). Draw near to God in Jesus' name. Continue to walk in God's love and trust in His promises. Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9 WEB). Anchor your hope:
We hear you say: "Let us hold tightly to the hope we say we have, for God can be trusted to keep his promise." (Hebrews 10:23)
Let us also remember that God will deliverer from bad habits is our Father. He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you can bear, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB). Claim and know there is no impossibility with God; have a life changing experience; prayer with fasting. Trust, humble yourself and pray willingly so Christ can the same (Peter 5:5-6) Live in hope and victory For everyone who is born of God is victorious and overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has conquered and overwhelmed the world—our [continual] faith [in Jesus the Son of God]. 1 John 5:4.
We pray, oh Lord, that You will grant Patti the strength, hope, and peace she needs during this season. Surround her with Your unfailing love and give her the courage to stand firm in her faith.
Lastly, Patti, we must remind you of the importance of marrying a fellow believer who shares your faith and values (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB). As you pray for Brandon's deliverance, also pray for God's will to be done in your relationship. Seek God's guidance as you prepare to marry and to have Him as you marriage covenant keeper. Trust that God will lead you both into a union that honors and glorifies Him. Jesus Christ is the head of all households.
Father, we lift up Brandon and Patti to You, asking for Your mercy, grace, and intervention. We're calling upon Jesus to help. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
