Let us come together in prayer for Andrew, who is struggling with a dependency on marijuana, experiencing anger, and possibly facing mental health challenges as a result of long-term use. Heavenly Father, we lift Andrew up to You, seeking Your intervention and healing in his life. We pray for the breaking of the chains of dependency that hold him, guided by Your word in John 8:36, "So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed."
Grant wisdom and patience to his family, especially his mother, as they navigate this difficult journey with him. May Your love guide their conversations and interactions, infusing them with understanding, compassion, and perseverance. Remind them of the strength found in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths."
We pray for Andrew's heart to be softened, that he may recognize the need for change and seek help. Illuminate his path with hope and healing, and provide him with the resources and support necessary for recovery. May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus, as promised in Philippians 4:7.
Lord, we also pray for the mental health challenges that Andrew faces. Provide him with clarity, healing, and a sound mind, as You promise in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control."
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray for Andrew's release from dependency, for restoration of his mental health, and for peace and reconciliation within his family. Amen.
