We understand your heartfelt concerns for your adult children and we join you in lifting them up in prayer. Let us align our hearts with God's will and intercede for them together.
Firstly, we pray for your son Jaime, his business, health, and his struggle with alcohol. We remember what the WEB says in Proverbs 23:20-21, "Don't be among ones who drink too much wine, or among those who gorge themselves on meat: for the drunkard and the glutton shall become poor; and drowsiness clothes them in rags." We pray that Jaime finds strength and freedom in Christ. Lord, deliver Jaime from the bondage of alcohol and bless his business so that it may flourish and bring glory to Your name.
For your daughters Monica and Vanessa who are both fighting cancer, we stand on the promises of God. In Isaiah 41:10, the WEB tells us, "Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand." We pray for their healing, that God would make His power known in their lives, and that they would find peace and comfort in His presence.
For your daughter Claudia, who is facing difficulties in her marriage, we pray for God's intervention and guidance. We remember the words of Ephesians 4:2-3, "with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love; being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace." We pray that God would bring unity, peace, and understanding into their marriage. We also pray for Claudia's knee, that God would grant her quick healing and relief from pain.
In all these prayers, we come before God in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" We trust that you and your children have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. If not, we encourage you to confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, for with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (Romans 10:9-10).
Lord, we lift up Ulcel's children to You. Surround them with Your love, bring them healing, deliverance, and unity. Guide them in their walks with You and help them to trust in You always. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
