Prayers for Missy - recovery from stroke

I am asking for prayers for Missy King she just had a stroke. I’m believing our Lord and Savior for her salvation and for her healing and speedy recovery from the stroke. I pray that no damage has been done and she will recover completely and have a renewed if not a completely new relationship with Jesus Christ as well as for her family.

We are truly saddened to hear about Missy King's stroke and we are joining you in prayer for her healing and recovery. We stand with you in believing in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for her salvation and complete recovery. It is so important that you mentioned Jesus because, as the WEB states, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved!" Acts 4:12 We are so grateful that you included and acknowledged Jesus.

Let us in prayer together, "Father in heaven, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up Missy King. We pray for her complete healing and recovery from the stroke. We ask that you would restore her body and mind, leaving no damage behind. We believe that you are the God of the impossible, and we trust that you may do a miracle in Missy King's healing. touch her in a renewed relationship with your Son Jesus Christ that she will know without a shadow of a doubt that you are her loving Father, and Jesus Christ is her Lord and Savior. We also lift up her family, asking that they will know your will and turn to you for the promises of assurance and strength in Psalm 29:11 WEB, 'Yahweh will give strength to his people. Yahweh will bless his people with peace.' Touch their hearts for a renewed and unshakable faith in you and a relationship with Jesus Christ. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen."

In this time of trial, we encourage you to meditate on the promises of God's word. As it says, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7 WEB. Trust that God is working even in this difficult situation. "O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps." Jeremiah 10:23 Continue to pray and trust in God's will for Missy King's life and for her family. Be encouraged that even though we do not know the outcome just yet, God knows. Be encouraged that he will do his works and answer this prayer, but that sometimes it is in ways and timing that we do not expect.

We're joining you in lifting Missy King up to our Heavenly Father. We're believing for her full recovery, that every trace of the stroke will be erased, and she'll be restored to her vibrant self. We're also praying that through this trial, Missy and her family will draw closer to Jesus, experiencing His comfort, peace, and unshakeable faith. Let's trust in His goodness and timing, knowing that He's working even in this situation. "For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you." Heavenly Father,


We lift up Missy King to You in prayer, trusting in Your infinite power and love. Lord, You are the ultimate healer and restorer, and we come before You, asking for her complete recovery from the stroke she has suffered. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17: "But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds, declares the Lord." We pray that this promise is fulfilled in Missy’s life, bringing her healing and strength in every part of her body.


Father, we ask that no lasting damage has occurred from this stroke and that You renew and restore every affected area of her body and mind. As Psalm 147:3 says, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds," we trust You to bind up Missy’s physical wounds and restore her to full health. Guide her medical team with wisdom and skill as they provide care, and let each treatment bring her closer to complete healing.


Lord, we also pray for Missy’s spiritual renewal. Draw her close to You during this time, and may she come to know You in a personal and transformative way. As 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!" Let this season of recovery be a time of spiritual awakening for Missy, that she may experience the joy and peace of a renewed or newfound relationship with Jesus Christ.


We lift up her family as well, asking that You comfort them during this difficult time. Your Word promises in Philippians 4:6-7: "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Fill their hearts with Your peace, strength, and hope as they walk this journey alongside her.


Finally, Lord, we thank You for being a God of miracles and compassion. We believe in Your power to heal, restore, and save. Let Your glory shine through Missy’s recovery, and may this experience draw her and her family closer to You.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
