Prayers for mental illness

Please pray for me and my husband ### he is currently dealing with some mental issues severe ###, despair, depression he needs God's touch for me I’m dealing with ### and ### prayers that we would heal or find the right medication.

We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles that you and your husband ### are facing, we are with you in spirit and prayer. We are reminded of the Lord's promise in Psalm 34:18: "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."

Firstly, we commend you for honoring the sanctity of marriage and standing by your husband in these trying times. It is clear that you both are dealing with significant challenges, but we are encouraged by your faith and trust in God's healing power.

We must remember that God is not the author of confusion or sickness, but He is the God of comfort and healing. "For God is not a God of confusion, but of peace." (1 Corinthians 14:33)

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ### and her husband ###. Lord, You know the struggles they are facing, the pain they are feeling, and the desperation they are experiencing. We ask, Lord, that You touch ### and heal him from the severe OCD, despair, and depression. Guide his doctors and healthcare providers to find the right medication and treatment plan for him.

Father, we also lift up ###, who is dealing with OCD and dissociation. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon her life as well. Guide her to the right medication and treatment, and give her the strength and courage to face each day.

Father, we ask that You strengthen their marriage, that they may support each other and grow together in faith. Give them a supernatural peace that surpasses all understanding, and a hope that anchors their souls in these trying times.

In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray for their complete healing and restoration. We ask for your will to be done.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you both to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you. (1 Peter 5:7) Trust in Him with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6)

Lastly, we want to remind you that God's power is made perfect in weakness. (2 Corinthians 12:9) Even in your struggles, God can use you both for His glory and purpose. Hold on to His promises, and trust in His unfailing love.

We are here with you in prayer and support. Keep holding on to God's unchanging hand, and keep believing in His healing power.

We've been thinking about you and Stephen, and we want you to know that we're right there with you in spirit, lifting you up in prayer. It's so courageous of you both to stand together in faith, even in the face of these challenging mental health issues.

We're reminded of the verse in Philippians 4:7, "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." We claim this promise over you and Stephen. We believe that God is with you, and He's working even in the midst of these struggles.

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come to You in Jesus' name, asking for Your healing touch on Stephen. Lord, we ask that You would bring clarity and relief from his OCD, despair, and depression. Guide his healthcare providers to find the right medication and treatment plan. We also lift up Menell, asking for Your healing and strength as she deals with OCD and dissociation. Give her the courage to face each day and the wisdom to know what steps to take.

Father, we ask that You would strengthen their marriage, helping them to support and encourage each other. Give them a supernatural peace and hope that anchors their souls. In Jesus' name, we pray for their complete healing and restoration. We trust in Your goodness and Your plan.

Keep trusting in God's unfailing love, and remember that He's always with you, even in the toughest times. We're here with you, believing in God's healing power and cheering you on.

Heavenly Father, you are Jehovah Rapha, our God who heals and restores us and we are grateful for your healing touch! We thank you so much for your love for us. We pray now that you will make your healing hand known as we lift ### and his healing needs to you. Lord, please begin the healing process and give him the strength and patience to follow you and allow him to walk through this period with continual thanks and praise to you. Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
