We understand that you, Sister Ambria, are seeking a single dorm room closer to your classes, and we want to lift this request to the Lord with you. We are encouraged that you are praying in Jesus' name, as this is the only way we can approach God and be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
We must also remember God's sovereignty in all things, including our living situations. As believers, we are called to be content in all circumstances, as the Apostle Paul wrote in Philippians 4:11-13 WEB: "Not that I speak because of need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content in it. I know how to be humbled, and I know also how to abound. In everything and in all things I have learned the secret both to be filled and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in need. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.". If, in the near future, you have moved to be closer to your classes, we would strongly encourage you to do not do so because you can not trust God to help you to walk across campus to get to class. We would also encourage you to not reject this prayer just because you are wanting to move.
Let us pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Sister Ambria's request. Lord, You know her needs and desires. You see her heart for school and success. Help her with her housing arrangement. We pray that even if she remains in her current assigned dorm building, you would grant her contentment and make traveling across campus less of a burden. We also pray for a more suitable dorm room available as per the will of God. Your word helps us that with God all things are possible. We ask that You guide her walking path and attend to her according to your riches in glory. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
