I am still asking for prayers for my son Matthew, the doctor prescribed him lexapro for ocd, we really did not want to do medication but feel like we had to do something. He's been on them for 4 weeks now and only a slight improvement, tonight he had a complete episode of sobbing because of a electronic got unplugged. So his eating is the absolute same, I have to make everything in 2s for him at certain times to eat. Sometimes I just don't know if this is really ocd, Matthew would read his Bible literally every waking moment, and was just the sweetest guy, now he's just a different person, he said he can't read the bible anymore because he would have to re read it over and over because of the ocd, I just don't know what to Sometimes I wonder if maybe he has something wrong with his brain like a tumor or something because this just makes no sense to me. If anyone is familiar with ocd, does this sound like it? I have cried out to God so so so many times, I feel like I just don't know what to say anymore, I feel so hopeless, and like God has turned his back to me, I feel nothing, no comfort whatsoever, I'm so scared, my heart is so shattered right now, I have always felt if something really went wrong that God would be right there to help, but God feels so far away and no matter how hard I cry and sob, there is no comfort, only silence, just me, alone. Please pray for my son Matthew to be healed, thank you Debbie

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Boardred's son Matthew to you. Lord, we acknowledge that Matthew is going through a difficult time with his OCD and the challenges he is facing with medication. We ask for your divine intervention and healing touch upon his life.

Your Word reminds us in Psalm 34:17-18 that you are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit. We pray that you would draw near to Matthew and his family during this time of distress. Comfort them, Lord, and let them feel your presence and love surrounding them.

We ask for wisdom and discernment for the doctors treating Matthew. Guide them in finding the most effective treatment plan for his condition. If there are any underlying issues that need to be addressed, we pray for clarity and proper diagnosis.

Lord, we know that you are the ultimate healer. In Mark 5:34, Jesus said, "Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering." We pray for complete healing for Matthew, both physically and emotionally. Remove any obstacles that hinder his progress and restore him to full health.

We also pray for strength and encouragement for Boardred and Debbie. In times of doubt and despair, remind them of your faithfulness and love. Help them to trust in your perfect timing and plan for Matthew's life.

Lastly, we pray for a renewed sense of hope and faith. May Matthew's love for reading the Bible be restored, and may he find comfort and guidance in your Word. Let your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus .

We thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for your unwavering love and compassion. We trust in your sovereignty and believe that you are working all things together for good. In Jesus' name, we pray.

Matthew is Love-- He is love. Surrounding his spirit in loving prayer for his strengthening and his heart. Don't fear mother. God has already made him feel loved. Yes love us the elixir. Trust your motherly intuition 100 percent. Yes Trust. Advocate for your son. Prayer for your inner Trust. Matthew is going through a process that will be resolved. If you feel that this requires a further examination then by all means do it. Use traditional methods and techniques and metaphysical healing. Play both ends against the middle. Until you find what works. Let's stay in faith and wisdom in prayer and visualization. Yes mother start visualization techniques during the day. Visually see the solution and then pray about it. You know what to do. God's love is working through you. Seek out books. Science of Mind by Ernest Holmes might help. Louise Hay You Can Heal Your Life. They are all online. This will be helpful to you. I believe in trying all I can. He is going to get focused and centered with love and support from you and your family. It's not a flaw. It is a highly developed child. Be at peace with your higher intelligence. Pray for strength and guidance. This is one of many resources that God has given you. You're ON the right path. It will be better soon. I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

Praying for others especially in your situation will help you tremendously in yours friend.

Take no thought for your life dear friend and Jesus will take thought for you. Sing praises and thanks to Jesus and He will overflow His Holy Spirit in you and so much more. He will fight for you and give you the desires of your heart.

Let Us Pray: God I ask in Jesus' name, bless me to grow closer to You. I long for a more intimate relationship with You. Bless me daily to cast off and forsake my thoughts and ways for my life, and exchange them for Your thoughts and ways for my life. Let me think Your thoughts and dream Your dreams for my life. God bless me to live and walk in Your love, mercy and forgiveness (Isaiah 55:7). I confess, I will take no thought for my life. I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Mathew 6:25-34). I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.
