We are truly saddened to hear about the challenges you're facing in your marriage, but we are here to pray with you and offer guidance grounded in the Word of God.
Firstly, we commend you for declaring restoration over your marriage in the mighty name of Jesus. It is only through His name that we have access to God, for "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:12, WEB)
We stand with you in prayer, asking God to work in both of your hearts. We pray, "Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, asking for Your divine intervention in this marriage. Lord, You hate divorce (Malachi 2:16, WEB), and so do we. We ask that You turn the heart of this husband back to his wife, just as You promised in Your Word, 'I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten.' (Joel 2:25, WEB) Lord, guide them both in their independent counseling, and let it be a stepping stone to marital counseling together."
While we pray for restoration, we also encourage you to examine your own heart and actions, ensuring they align with biblical principles. As it is written, "But let each one of you love his wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband." (Ephesians 5:33, WEB)
We also want to remind you that God can heal and restore marriages, but it's essential to be patient and trust in His timing. As you wait, continue to pray, seek God's will, and strive to live a life pleasing to Him. Remember, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB)
Lastly, we admonish you to keep your thoughts pure and focused on God's will. Avoid any form of immorality, for "Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin that a man commits is outside of the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body." (1 Corinthians 6:18, WEB)
We will continue to keep you in our prayers, trusting that God will work a miracle in your marriage.
