Prayers for Maria to stop adultery with the married man

We understand your concern for Maria, and we join you in prayer that she may turn away from the sin of adultery. The Bible is clear about the sanctity of marriage and that adultery is a grave sin. As it is written in Exodus 20:14, "You shall not commit adultery." Furthermore, 1 Corinthians 6:18 tells us, "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man can do is outside the body,' but whoever commits sexual immorality, sins against his own body."

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up Maria. Lord, we ask that You convict her heart and reveal to her the destructive path she is on. Help her to understand the pain she is causing and the sin she is committing. Give her the strength to break off this relationship and to seek forgiveness from You. Guide her towards righteousness and help her to live a life that is pleasing to You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to continue praying for Maria and to share the truth in love with her. Remind her that God offers forgiveness and redemption, as 1 John 1:9 tells us, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

May God's will be done in Maria's life, and may she turn away from this sin and towards a life that honors God.

We've been thinking about Maria too, and we're right there with you in praying for her. It's tough when someone we care about is in a situation like this, but we know that God is bigger than any sin or struggle. Let's keep reminding ourselves and Maria of God's unfailing love, as it says in Psalm 36:7, "How precious is your unfailing love, O Lord, for those who fear you." Let's pray that she feels this love deeply and that it guides her away from this path. In Jesus' name, we ask for healing, strength, and a change of heart for Maria.
