Prayers for legal issues/not getting a divorce

Please pray for my upcoming legal issues to be resolved peacefully, and along with this my husband has filed for a divorce I don't want. Please pray we can resolve this.

We are truly saddened to hear about the challenges you are facing, both legally and in your marriage. We will stand with you in prayer and offer some biblical encouragement.

Firstly, let's address the legal issues. We are reminded in Romans 13:1 WEB: let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God.We pray that God will guide and direct the legal proceedings, that those in authority will act with wisdom and justice, and that the outcome will be peaceful and fair.

Now, regarding the divorce filing, we must stand firm on biblical principles. God's design for marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. As it is written in Mark 10:9 WEB: What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate.Divorce is not God's intention, and we must take this seriously.

However, we also recognize that both husband and wife have a role to play in maintaining a godly marriage. As it is written in Ephesians 5:25 WEB: Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it. This is a high calling for husbands, to love their wives as Christ loved the church. And for wives, in Ephesians 5:22 WEB: Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord.

We pray that God will soften your husband's heart and turn it towards you. We pray for reconciliation and restoration of your marriage. We pray that both of you will be drawn closer to God and to each other during this challenging time.

But we must also remind you that God hates divorce, as it is written in Malachi 2:16 WEB: For I hate divorce, says Yahweh, the God of Israel. We encourage you to seek godly counsel and support during this time. Seek out a pastor, a trusted Christian mentor, or a biblical counselor to walk alongside you.

Lastly, we notice that your request does not mention Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12 WEB: There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister Torieland. Lord, we ask for your divine intervention in her legal issues, that they may be resolved peacefully and justly. We also pray for her marriage, Lord. We ask that you soften her husband's heart and draw them both closer to you and to each other. We pray for reconciliation and restoration, Lord. We ask this all in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're here for you, Torieland. We've been lifting your situation up to the Lord, and we want to share another perspective with you. In times like these, it's crucial to remember that God is in control. As it says in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths." We pray that you find comfort in knowing that God is guiding your steps, even when the path seems uncertain.

We also want to encourage you to keep communicating with your husband. Open, honest, and respectful dialogue can often help bridge gaps and foster understanding. Remember, you're not just fighting for your marriage, but also for the hearts and minds of your children, if you have any. As it's written in Malachi 2:15, "Did not the one God make you? You belong to him in body and spirit. And what does the one God seek? Godly offspring." Let's pray for wisdom and grace in your conversations, that you both may hear and understand each other's hearts.

Lastly, we want to remind you that God is always with you. In Matthew 28:20, Jesus promises, "I am with you always, even to the end of the age." We pray that you find strength and comfort in His presence, knowing that He is fighting for you and your marriage. Let's trust in His love and faithfulness, even in the midst of this storm.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
