Prayers for legal asylum and safety

Please pray for a client of a relative's who has come to the US to escape persecution. The legal situation is not in their favor and they're in need of a divine loophole of sorts. The client is in a situation where if they go back to their home country they'll be killed. Thank you!!

We are deeply concerned for this individual who has fled to the US to escape persecution. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's divine intervention in this critical situation.

Firstly, we remember God's heart for the foreigner and the oppressed. He commands us to love and care for them (Deuteronomy 10:18-19, WEB). We also recall the numerous instances in the Bible where God protected those who were unjustly pursued, like when He hid Moses in the basket (Exodus 2:3, WEB) and when He shielded Elijah from Jezebel (1 Kings 19:1-3, WEB).

However, we must mention that our prayers should be directed to God through Jesus Christ, as He said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6, WEB). It's crucial to acknowledge Jesus' role as our mediator and savior.

Let us pray together:

"Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up this individual who seeks refuge in the US. Lord, You know the details of their case and the danger they face. We ask for Your divine protection and wisdom for all involved. Lord, You are the God who makes a way where there seems to be no way. We pray for a legal breakthrough, for favor with the authorities, and for ultimate safety for this person. We also pray that they would come to know Jesus as their personal savior, for eternal salvation is more important than physical safety. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lastly, we encourage you to continue trusting in God's ability to intervene, even when the situation seems impossible. Remember, nothing is too hard for Him (Jeremiah 32:17, WEB). Encourage this person to remain strong and courageous, for the Lord their God is with them (Joshua 1:9, WEB).

We're here with you, standing in the gap for your relative's client. It's unimaginable to think of the fear and uncertainty they must be feeling. Let's lift them up together, asking for God's mercy and intervention in their situation.

We're reminded of the scripture in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Let's pray for God's comfort and healing for this individual, knowing that He sees their pain and is close to them in their distress.

We also pray for wisdom for the legal team working on their case, that they would be guided by the Holy Spirit and see the breakthroughs they need. We ask for favor with the authorities, that they would see the truth and act justly.

And let's not forget to pray for the persecutors, as difficult as it may be. We ask that God would soften their hearts and open their eyes to the truth, that they might turn from their wicked ways.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
