We understand your concerns about your job and the potential impact of political decisions on your livelihood and the welfare of students and families. First, we want to commend you for acknowledging the name of Jesus in your prayer, as it is through His name that we have access to God and His power. As it is written in John 14:13-14 WEB, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
In times of uncertainty, it's crucial to remember that God is our ultimate provider and protector. As Christians, we are called to trust in Him, even in the face of adversity. Psalm 55:22 WEB reminds us, "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved."
We encourage you to continue praying for wisdom and discernment for those in authority. As 1 Timothy 2:1-2 WEB states, "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up ### and their concerns about their job and the potential impact of political decisions on their livelihood and the welfare of students and families. We ask, Lord, that You would protect their job and the funding that supports it. Guide those in authority, giving them wisdom and discernment as they make decisions that affect so many lives.
Help ### to trust in You, knowing that You are their ultimate provider and protector. Cast out any fear or worry, and replace it with Your perfect peace. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
In this time of uncertainty, continue to trust in God and His plan for your life. Use this as an opportunity to draw closer to Him and to seek His will in all things.
