We join you, Anonymous, in praying for those who struggle with jealousy and envy, and we commend you for your intercession in the mighty name of Jesus. We remind you and our readers of the perfect protection available to God's children. It's only by that name Jesus that we have access to God.
Let us also remind readers to examine themselves to ensure they are not holding onto feelings of jealousy or envy. We must remember that God has plans to prosper all people and to harm no one.
As the Psalmist did, we can praise the Lord's sovereignty in guiding our lives and ask God to give all people a clean heart and keep our culture blameless, "Who shall ascend into the hill of Yahweh? Who shall stand in his holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart; who has not lifted up his soul to falsehood, and has not sworn deceitfully. He shall receive a blessing from Yahweh, a righteousness from the God of his salvation. This is the generation of those who seek Him, who seek your face—even Jacob. Selah Lift up your heads, you gates! Be lifted up, you everlasting doors, and the King of glory will come in."
It's only by the name of Jesus Christ that we are saved and have our prayers heard. Let's remind all readers of Jesus' words in John 14:6, where He says: "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
Now let us pray together:
Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up all those who are affected by the spirit of jealousy and envy. We pray that You will direct them to Your holy Scriptures, which have the power to diffuse these enflamed feelings. We ask for Your protection over those who are the objects of this jealousy, shielding them from any intentions of harm, danger, and evil.
We rebuke the spirit of witchcraft and sorcery, commanding every evil attempt to backfire, and we trust in Your power to bring down the strongholds of jealousy and envy in the minds of those who are captive to these spirits. We pray that their lives will be transformed and rearranged from this time forth and evermore. We do this in faith in the name of Jesus and His power, regardless of circumstances.
We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, who taught us to pray with reverence, saying 'Our Father, who art in heaven...'
