We understand your concern and desire for God's intervention in this delicate situation. Firstly, we want to assure you that we are standing with you in prayer, seeking God's will for this precious baby and your friend.
In times like these, we recall the words of Jesus in Matthew 19:14 (WEB), "But Jesus said, 'Allow the little children, and don’t forbid them to come to me; for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these.'" This verse reminds us of God's heart for children, and we trust that He is present in this situation.
However, we must also align our prayers with God's will. In Romans 8:26-27 (WEB), it is written, "In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered. He who searches the hearts knows what is on the Spirit’s mind, because he makes intercession for the saints according to God."
Let us pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, asking for Your divine presence at the birth of this baby. We claim Your promise in Psalm 139:13-14 (WEB), that You have knit this baby together in the womb and that this baby is fearfully and wonderfully made. We pray for Your will to be done in this situation. Please provide comfort and strength to the baby and to the mother during this time. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to continue praying, trusting that God hears and answers our prayers according to His will. Keep in mind that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9, WEB). Trust in Him, and He will see your friend and this baby through this time.
