Prayers for immediate Employment, Please !!!

Disciple of Prayer
I’m in need of everyone’s prayers. I’ve come to the point where I don’t know what else to do other than what I’ve been doing.

I lost my job in February and I’ve been applying to jobs nonstop. I’ve landed SEVERAL interviews but no job offer. I’ve even landed interviews to jobs I never applied to but the recruiter found me on platforms like “Indeed” or “LinkedIn.” I’ve applied to temp agencies but they are telling me that I’m either too far (### minute drive) or that I don’t have enough warehouse experience, considering my background is mainly medical or administrative. I’ve applied for unemployment and was denied but filed an appeal. In the meantime, I’m months behind on my mortgage, car note, etc. I have 2 sons, 1 is 23 and 17; they work part-time and they are saving up to buy themselves things they need, but I have to keep asking for their help and it’s sickening that I keep asking them and they are using their savings to assist me. I’m trying so hard to look forward to work and I don’t understand why I’m still unemployed knowing I have the qualifications. I’m scared and I can’t keep putting off my bills. I pray consistently!!!! I went to a hiring event, and made it to the next phase; they wanted a typing test and after I completed it (no response, even after I reached out) I’M TRYING!!!! And hard too but I can’t force employers to hire me. I’m trying to stay in good spirits but I find myself depressed and unhealthy thoughts. I have received additional phone calls from employers in regards to employment offers so that is in the works but nothing solid yet and I’m worried. On top of my 17-year-old, I’m struggling with trying to keep him fit on school and work while he battles his addiction to marijuana. I’m sad every day and I’m trying to be happy and grateful. Please pray for me for I’m concerned. I cast my worries unto God but my bills are growing and I have no solutions. Please pray for me and my situation. I thank you all, in Jesus name. Amen.

We understand that you're going through a challenging time, and we want you to know that we're here to support and pray with you. Let's first turn to God's Word for some encouragement and guidance.

In Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB) it says, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

Firstly, we commend you for your persistence in job hunting and your trust in God. It's crucial to remember that God has a plan and a purpose for you. Just as Joseph in the Bible went through trials and waits, but God never left his side. God remembers you and your needs.

However, we want to remind you that it's essential to pray in the name of Jesus Christ. As it says in John 14:6 (WEB), Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

It's only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved, Acts 4:12.

Let’s pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our sister in need of employment. We thank You for Your faithfulness and Your promise to provide for all our needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Father, we ask for Your divine intervention in her job search. Open the doors that no man can shut, and give her favor with potential employers. We pray for her that she will be able to meet her financial obligations and provide for her family.

We also pray for her sons, that they would walk in Your ways and that You would deliver the younger son from his addiction. We ask for Your guidance and wisdom for her as she navigates this challenging season. Help her to trust in You and to have no worries.

In Jesus' name, we pray for her health, both physically and mentally. We rebuke any spirit of depression and despair, and we ask You to fill her with Your peace, joy, and hope. Your word promises that You will supply every need of your children according to the riches of your glory in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:19. We ask that you provide this in accordance with your word.

We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

As for the issues with her son, it will be helpful if she will have a discussion with a pastor, church leader, or experienced Christian family member. She should seek help and guidance in dealing with the 17-year-old and his addiction. This may require some major changes in his life and possibly some additional counseling or seeking a spiritual deliverance ministry. She should continue to pray for him and love him and with faith she can help him overcome this addiction. He needs to have some consequences for his actions and behavior, and she needs to be sure not to enable him. God's word tells us in

2 Corinthians 6:14, Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?

Galatians 6:7, Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap.

Hebrews 12:11, All chastening seems for the present to be not joyous but grievous; yet afterward it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been exercised thereby.

Hebrews 12:5-8, 5 and you have forgotten the exhortation which reasons with you as with children, My son, do not take lightly the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when you are reproved by him; 6 for whom the Lord loves, he chastens, and scourges every son whom he receives. 7 It is for chastening that you endure. God deals with you as with sons, for what son is there whom his father does not chasten? 8 But if you are without chastening, of which all have been made partakers, then are you illegitimate, and not sons.

We will continue to keep you in our prayers and believe that God will make a way where there seems to be no way. Keep trusting in Him, and keep seeking His face and will praying and believing in Jesus' name. We all are praying for you as a group and will continue to pray for you. Thank you for sharing your struggles with us. May God richly bless you and your family.

We're here for you, and we're not going to stop praying until we see a breakthrough. We know that God is faithful and He will come through for you. Keep trusting in Him, and let's continue to stand in faith together.

We want to encourage you with this verse from Matthew 6:25-26 (WEB), "Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father keeps them all alive. Aren't you much better than they?"

God sees your situation, and He cares for you deeply. He promises to provide for all your needs, just as He takes care of the birds and the lilies of the field. Trust in Him, and let's continue to pray in faith, believing that He will make a way for you.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come to You today on behalf of our sister in need. We thank You for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We ask that You would open up job opportunities for her, and that she would find favor in the eyes of potential employers. We trust that You will provide for all her needs, according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

We also lift up her sons to You. We ask that You would deliver the younger son from his addiction, and that both sons would walk in Your ways. Give our sister wisdom and guidance as she navigates this challenging season, and help her to trust in You completely.

In Jesus' name, we pray for her physical and mental health. We rebuke any spirit of depression or despair, and we ask that You would fill her with Your peace, joy, and hope. We thank You that You will supply every need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).

We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Keep trusting in God, and let's continue to pray in faith, believing that He will come through for you. We're here for you, and we're not going to stop praying until we see a breakthrough. God is faithful, and He will make a way for you.

Praying for you and your precious son. Keep up the good work. Your strength comes from the Lord. He will never forsake you. Your son will grow spiritually, also, by witnessing your faith. I pray we all grow daily in Christ - thru prayer, His Word and asking the Holy Spirit, our Comforter, to surround us and our children. In Jesus name amen.

A prayer was lifted on behalf of an individual who has been courageously enduring unemployment and the challenges that have come with it. It was asked that God, the Provider of all things (Philippians 4:19), would open doors of opportunity and guide them to the right job—one that aligns with their skills, experience, and purpose.

For the many interviews they have attended without receiving offers, it was prayed that the Lord would soften hearts and remove any obstacles standing in the way of employment, trusting that His plans are greater than human understanding (Jeremiah 29:11). The prayer included a plea for divine favor, asking that employers see their unique qualifications and potential, as stated in Psalm 90:17: "Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands."

It was also prayed that God would provide relief from financial burdens, granting peace amidst uncertainty and meeting their immediate needs according to His riches in glory (Matthew 6:33). For the sons who have sacrificially helped during this time, gratitude was offered to God for their love and support, praying He would bless them abundantly for their kindness.

For the youngest son battling addiction, prayers were lifted for strength, healing, and deliverance from harmful habits, asking that God would surround him with wise counsel and restore his path toward health and wholeness (Proverbs 3:5-6). The individual sought comfort in knowing that God hears every cry and sees every struggle, so it was prayed that He would fill their heart with hope and joy, even in moments of despair, reminding them that "weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning" (Psalm 30:5).

Finally, it was entrusted into God’s hands that anxiety and fear would be replaced with His supernatural peace—a peace surpassing all understanding (Philippians 4:7)—and that He would protect their mind and spirit from unhealthy thoughts. Trusting in His promise that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), they held fast to faith, believing that breakthrough is near.

This prayer was offered humbly and confidently in Jesus’ name, trusting in His faithfulness to sustain and deliver according to His perfect timing.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We continue to lift you up in prayer, dear brother, as you seek employment and face the challenges that each day brings. Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and for allowing us to stand in agreement with you.

If the Lord has opened a door for you and your request for employment has been answered, we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Your testimony could be a great encouragement to others who are also seeking employment and trusting God for their daily needs. Please share your good news with us.

If you are still waiting for that breakthrough, we want you to know that we are still here, standing in the gap, for you. Please do not hesitate to post your request again as a new one. We want to continue praying for you with persistence. Let us know how we can be praying specifically. Are there any new job opportunities on the horizon? How can we pray for your sons, especially the one struggling with addiction?

We empathize with the heavy burden you are carrying, especially as a single parent and the sole provider. We join you to pray that you see restoration in your unemployment appeal and that the Lord also heals the fragile state you've been feeling mentally. We pray also that you find peace in God's word, your daily bread and in good Christian fellowship. According to Philippians 4:6-7, we are called as followers of Christ to take action against anxiety: "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

We pray that you receive a tangible sense of God's Love and God's peace that passes all understanding. May you continue to seek Him with all your heart, and may you find comfort and strength in His presence. May you have more days ahead where you feel well and grateful.

We are praying for you. In Jesus Name
