Heavenly Father,
We come before You with hearts full of trust and faith, lifting up Lankney's husband in prayer. Lord, You are the Provider and Sustainer of all things, and we know that You have plans to prosper us and not to harm us, plans to give us hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).
Father, as Lankney's husband faces the uncertainty of his company's closure, we ask that You guide his steps and open doors to new opportunities. Your Word tells us in Philippians 4:19 that You will meet all our needs according to the riches of Your glory in Christ Jesus. We stand on this promise, believing that You will provide the right job for him, one that aligns with his skills, passions, and Your perfect will.
We pray for wisdom and discernment as he searches for new employment. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us to trust in You with all our heart and lean not on our own understanding; in all our ways, we acknowledge You, and You will make our paths straight. Guide him, Lord, and make his path clear.
Grant him peace and confidence during this time of transition, reassuring him that You are in control. We pray that he will find favor with potential employers and that doors will be opened that no one can shut (Revelation 3:8).
Lord, we also lift up Lankney, asking for strength and encouragement for this family. May they feel Your presence and love surrounding them, knowing that You are their refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We pray all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus. Amen.
