We understand that you are seeking God's help for job security, and we are here to pray with you and offer biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging God as part of your work life and praying in Jesus' name. As believers, we are called to acknowledge God in all our ways, and He will direct our paths.
Let us pray together for God's will and peace in your life as you look towards your future employment.
God of all wisdom, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother or sister in Christ. We thank You for the job they currently have, knowing that every good and perfect gift comes from You.
As they look ahead to the next four years, we ask for Your will to be done in their life. We know that You have prepared good works in advance for them to do, and we pray that You would equip them to fulfill these purposes. If it is Your will for them to remain in their current position, we ask for Your peace and protection over their job.
However, if You have other plans for them, we pray for Your clear guidance and direction. Help them to trust in You with all their heart and not lean on their own understanding as the Bible tells us in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
In all things, we ask that You would be glorified in their life and work. Give them a spirit of excellence and help them to be a light for You in their workplace. Help them to be a faithful witness for You.
In all things, we give You the glory and honor, in Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
As you continue to seek God's will for your employment, remember that God is faithful. He has promised to supply all our needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Keep trusting in Him, and He will direct your paths. Keep your eyes open to any opportunities He may bring your way, and always remember that He is working for your good.
Keep pouring your heart out to Him by praying in Jesus' name and reading His Word. We encourage you to keep praying in Jesus' name as it is only by His name we have access to the Father and are saved as it tells us in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
