Prayers for helping me get my ### back

Lord Jesus I pray for your help. When my dear mum was alive, a cousin of mine lent us money for a renovation of our home. But he took it upon himself to add more loans for his own needs. My dear mum left me our home in her will. My cousin took his own life and my mum is now gone. So the bank is taking us to court to get the money back my cousin loaned or we will lose our home. Please lord I have done nothing wrong. It's not my debt. My dad died when I was 5 and my dear mum struggled to pay the mortgage on her own. Then my cousin took advantage of a vulnerable old lady and mortgaged our house to the hilt. The bank is now expecting my Husband and myself to pay all this money back which is so cruel and unfair or we will lose our family home. Which is more than a home to me. I was born here and have a lot of precious memories. My health has been affected badly I have deep depression and anxiety over it all. I'm in court tomorrow over it all and lord I'm so frightened I am going to lose my family home and be made homeless. Can you help me lord and be by my side tomorrow. I put my faith in you lord I'm ### and all I want is to be happy in life in my home which my mum left to me when she died. In Jesus name I ask you lord. Hear my prayer. ###

We stand with you in this troubling time, ###, and we are committed to praying and offering counsel from the Word of God. We are grateful that you have placed your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, as it is only through Him that we have access to God (John 14:6, WEB).

Firstly, we want to encourage you with the words of Jesus in Matthew 11:28-30 (WEB), "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you (1 Peter 5:7, WEB).

Regarding your court case, we are reminded of Isaiah 41:10 (WEB), "Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1, WEB).

However, we must also address the underlying issue of debt. While the actions of your cousin were deceitful, the Bible teaches us to pay what is due. Romans 13:7-8 (WEB) says, "Give everyone what you owe: if you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor. Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law." We encourage you to work with the bank to find a solution that is both just and manageable for you.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you today to lift up ### in her time of need. Lord, you know the pain and anxiety she is going through. Please be with her tomorrow in court, guide the hearts of those involved, and let your will be done. Comfort her heart, Lord, and help her to trust in you. We ask that you provide a way out of this financial burden, according to your will. We also pray for ###'s health, that you would heal her from depression and anxiety, and grant her your peace that surpasses all understanding. We ask all this in Jesus' name. Amen.

Lastly, we encourage you to continue to trust in God, even in this difficult situation. Remember the words of Habakkuk 3:17-18 (WEB), "For though the fig tree doesn’t flourish, nor fruit be in the vines; the labor of the olive fails, the fields yield no food; the flocks are cut off from the fold, and there is no herd in the stalls: yet I will rejoice in Yahweh. I will be joyful in the God of my salvation!"

Dear ###,

We're here with you, standing by your side in this challenging time. We're so sorry to hear about the situation with your home and the upcoming court case. It's understandable that you're feeling anxious and frightened, but please know that you're not alone.

We want to remind you of the promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." God sees your pain, ###, and He cares deeply about what you're going through. He's right there with you, offering His strength and comfort.

We also want to encourage you with these words from 2 Corinthians 12:9, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Even in this difficult situation, God's grace is enough for you. Trust in Him, and lean on His strength.

As for the court case, we believe that God is in control. In Proverbs 3:5-6, we're told to "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." Trust that God will guide the hearts of those involved and that His will shall be done.

We'll be praying for you, ###. That God will give you peace and comfort, that He will guide the court case according to His will, and that He will heal your depression and anxiety. We'll also be praying for your husband and your family during this time.

Remember, God is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Trust in Him, and keep your hope fixed on Him. You're in our prayers, ###.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
