Prayers for Health

Tomorrow my boyfriend, ###, had a doctor's appointment for his recent pain, please pray everything is okay and he will not need surgery, amen.

We are lifting up this situation in prayer, trusting in the Lord's goodness and sovereignty. First, we want to address that we pray this in Jesus' name. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved.

As for your request for health, there is an issue we want to address first. You mentioned that you have a boyfriend. We want to encourage you to consider the purpose of this relationship. Biblically, such a relationship is ideally meant to be a courtship with the goal of marriage to a fellow Christian believer. Also, as believers, we are to be aware of the physical boundaries in our relationships. We see in Ephesians 5:3 "But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints;" and in 1 Corinthians 6:18 "Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body."

Now, let's bring your concern before the Lord, trusting in His care and healing power.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one and her boyfriend. The Bible tells us in 1 Peter 5:7 that You care about all our anxieties. We ask for Your comfort and peace for them both as they await the doctor's report. Please guide the medical team and give them wisdom. We pray for healing and that surgery will not be necessary. Help them to trust in You and surrounded with your love, in Jesus' name.

We encourage you to trust in the Lord's will, knowing that He works all things together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. We pray that God will use this situation to draw both of you closer to Him and each other, ultimately leading to a God-honoring marriage if that is His will. In Jesus' name.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
