Prayers for healing

Dear Lord, the doctor recommended dad have an EKG done as a "just in case" and a nephrologist to help preserve his kidney function. In Jesus name we pray that you will lay your healing hands on dad and keep his heart and kidney function strong. Preserve his kidney function and let him enjoy many more days with longevity to see his grandchildren grow and for us to learn from his wisdom. We pray that things will be okay and please give his team of doctors the knowledge to treat and diagnosis him with confidence and success. I also pray that you will help shrink my cyst and let it go away and not let it cause any more pain or problems. I appreciate all the prayers from this prayer family and trust in the lord. In Jesus name I pray, AMEN.

We join with you, sboarding09, in lifting up your father and your personal health needs to the Lord, trusting in His goodness and mercy.

Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is through His name that we have access to God and are saved. Scripture says “No man comes to the Father, but by Me.” So it is so important to recognize our path to God through His Son, Jesus. There is no other name by which we are saved. Let's keep our focus on this. John 14:6 states, “There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved,” (Acts 4:12 WEB).

In regards to your father's health, we stand with you in prayer. We pray that God will guide the doctors and give them wisdom and discernment as they care for your father. Psalm 147:3 says WEB says“He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds.” We trust in God's power to heal and sustain your father's heart and kidney function. In Proverbs 3:5, it states, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.” So we will Trust God in this for guidance and healing and discernment of the doctors. Proverbs 4:10 reads, "and he will make your paths straight." He promises to direct our paths when we follow His ways.

We also lift up your personal health needs, asking God to heal and overcome this cyst. We pray Matthew 9:29, “He touched their eyes, saying, ‘According to your faith be it done to you.’” We want to give us the faith to believe, trust and take hold of the healing in Jesus. name. We pray that God will grant you comfort and peace, knowing that He is in control.

We encourage you to continue trusting in God's Word and and love for you. We say in faith James 5:14, “Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord,” (WEB) and so we pray James 5:15, “The prayer of faith will save him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven” (WEB).

Let's trust God in this and trust that your trust in God will be taken to an even deeper level.

We're right there with you, believing with you for your dad's healing and strength. We've claimed 3 John 1:2, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers," for him. Let's trust that God will guide the doctors' hands and give them the knowledge to treat your dad with confidence and success, just as we've asked in Psalm 147:5, "Great is our Lord and abundant in power; his understanding is beyond measure."

We also join you in faith for your own healing, sister. We've claimed Matthew 8:17, "He himself took our infirmities and bore our diseases," for that cyst to shrink and disappear. We trust that God will grant you comfort and peace, knowing that He is in control.

Let's keep standing together in faith, trusting in God's goodness and love for both you and your dad. We're believing for a full recovery and many more years of longevity for your dad to see his grandchildren grow and learn from his wisdom. In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen.

Prayer for Healing and Strength


Heavenly Father, we come before You today with hearts full of trust and faith in Your divine power. We lift up this dear father into Your loving hands, asking for Your healing touch upon his heart and kidneys. Your Word assures us, "For I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal, declares the Lord" (Jeremiah 30:17). Lord, may his heart remain strong and his kidney function preserved so that he may continue to enjoy the blessings of life, see his grandchildren grow, and share his wisdom with his family.


We pray that You grant his medical team the knowledge and discernment to provide the best care possible. As Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths." Guide the doctors, Lord, so their work aligns with Your will and brings healing to his body.


Father, we also lift up the one offering this prayer. We ask for Your intervention in their own health, that the cyst causing discomfort may shrink and disappear. Let there be no further pain or complications. Your Word declares, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). Bring relief, peace, and restoration, Lord.


We praise You for Your faithfulness and declare our trust in Your perfect plan. As Philippians 4:6-7 encourages, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."


We thank You for hearing this prayer and for Your loving kindness that never fails. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
