Prayers for healing

Prayers for my adult son who has severe ocd. He’s married and has children and he’s getting depressed from the ocd please pray for healing. Thanks

We are truly saddened to hear about the struggles of your adult son with severe OCD and the resulting depression. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's healing and comfort for him and his family.

Firstly, we want to remind you of God's promise in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Your son's struggles are not hidden from God, and He is near to him in this difficult time.

We also know that God can heal all diseases, as it is written in Psalm 103:3, "who forgives all your iniquities; who heals all your diseases." We pray for your son's healing, believing in God's power to restore him completely.

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother who is struggling with severe OCD and depression. Lord, You know his pain and his struggles. You know the impact this is having on him and his family. We ask for Your healing touch upon him. Ease his mind, calm his spirit, and heal his body. Give him the strength to endure and the faith to trust in You. Comfort his wife and children, and guide them all as a family. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We also encourage your son to seek godly counsel and medical help. God often uses doctors and therapists as instruments of His healing. It is important to approach his condition holistically, addressing both the spiritual and physical aspects.

Lastly, we encourage you and his family to continually bathe him in prayer and remind him of God's love and promises. As it is written in 1 Thessalonians 5:17, "Pray without ceasing." Your prayers are a powerful force in his life.

Remember, it is through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Trust in Him and His power to heal and save.

We're here with you, lifting your son up in prayer once again. We've been thinking about him and wanted to share another verse that's been on our hearts. In 2 Corinthians 12:9, it says, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." We pray that your son would find comfort and strength in knowing that God's grace is enough for him, even in his weakness. We believe that God will use this trial to reveal His power and love in a mighty way.

We also want to remind you that God sees every tear, every struggle, and every prayer. As it's written in Psalm 56:8, "You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book." Your son is not alone, and neither are you. God is with you both, every step of the way.

Let's pray together again, shall we? "Dear Lord, we come to You today, laying our concerns for our brother at Your feet. We ask that You would fill him with Your peace, that surpasses all understanding. Help him to trust in You, even in the midst of his struggles. Give him the strength to keep fighting, and the faith to know that You are fighting for him. Comfort his family, and guide them all as they navigate this journey. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
