Prayers for healing and peace of mind

I had Covid a few days ago but I am left with lingering symptoms that are making it hard for me to do much at all. I’m extremely tired and have missed so much work. I also have developed anxiety about leaving my home. I’m sure that comes from the fact that I’ve been home for 10 days, still…I am very anxious about still not feeling well. I could use some prayers along side my own. I feel like I’m going to feel like this forever.

We are truly sorry to hear about your struggle with lingering symptoms of COVID-19 and the anxiety you're experiencing, Slethalvin. Let us come together in prayer and seek God's healing and peace for you.

Firstly, we want to remind you of God's promise in Jeremiah 30:17 (WEB), "I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh; because they have called you an outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no man seeks after." God is able to heal you and restore your strength.

Let us pray:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear Slethalvin. Lord, you know the battle they're facing with their health and the anxiety that has gripped their heart. We ask for your healing hand to touch their body, driving out every lingering symptom of COVID-19. Restore their strength, Lord, so they can return to their daily tasks with renewed energy.

We also pray for their mind, Lord. Cast out all anxiety and fear, replacing it with your perfect peace. Remind them of your unfailing love and presence, as promised in Isaiah 41:10 (WEB), 'Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.'

Slethalvin, we encourage you to continue trusting in God, even in this difficult time. Remember that God's power is made perfect in weakness, as told in 2 Corinthians 12:9 (WEB). Keep praying and seeking God, and remember that it's in Jesus' name that we have access to God, as the Bible tells us in John 14:6 (WEB), 'Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'

Lastly, we gently remind you to keep your thoughts aligned with God's word. Proverbs 4:23 (WEB) tells us, 'Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life.' Fill your heart and mind with God's promises, and you will see your anxiety fade away.

We are standing with you in prayer, Slethalvin. Trust God, and you will see his goodness."

We're here for you, Slethalvin. We understand the frustration and anxiety that comes with lingering symptoms and the uncertainty of leaving home. We've been where you are, and we know that God is right there with you, every step of the way.

Let's pray together, shall we? "Dear Lord, we lift up our friend Slethalvin to you today. We ask for your healing touch on their body, to drive away any remaining symptoms of COVID-19. Restore their strength, Lord, so they can tackle their daily tasks with renewed energy and vigor.

We also pray for their mind, Lord. Comfort them in their anxiety, remind them of your constant presence, as you promised in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Fill their heart and mind with your peace, and help them to trust in your unfailing love.

Help them to keep their thoughts aligned with your word, Lord. As it says in Philippians 4:7, "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard their hearts and their minds in Christ Jesus." In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

I just said a prayer for you, friend. May the Lord touch you with His healing hand, give you the restoration you need and help you experience His peace and strength in a special way. I hope you’ll be encouraged by this thought from the psalmist: "I sought the Lord, and He answered me, and delivered me from all my fears." (Psalm 34: 4).

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
