Prayers for guidance

I would value prayers for guidance about how to handle a certain issue. I agreed to help a ### sort something out today but, I am not feeling sure about it. There are a couple of reasons for this such as, it's a long way to go and my financial situation isn't the best at the moment and the other issue is it involves going to see her mum who is sick but, was horrendous to her in childhood. I am not sure if I can do this in my own mental capacity. I would value prayers as I do care for my ### but my own mental wellbeing could be at risk and I am not exactly in the best place at the moment. In the name of Jesus Christ.

The Bible is clear that God does not want our burdens to be more than we can handle as it says "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our ### who is seeking Your guidance. Lord, You know the details of this situation and the concerns in her/his heart. We ask that You grant wisdom and clarity. If it is Your will for her/him to go and assist, please provide the strength, the financial provision, and the emotional and mental fortitude needed. If it is not Your will, please make that clear and provide a way out of this commitment.

We also pray for the sick mother, that You would work in her heart and bring healing and restoration, both physically and spiritually. We pray that You would soften her heart and bring reconciliation if that is Your will.

Lord, we know that You are a God of mercy and grace. Please pour out Your peace on this situation and guide our ### in the path that You would have her/him take.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we would like to leave you with these words from Psalm 55:22 WEB "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved." Trust that God is in control and will guide you through this situation. It is very good that you mentioned the name of Jesus Christ in your request.
