prayers for granddaughter

Please pray for my granddaughter. Her ex boyfriend and his mother are taking her to court on the 14th. He has an order of protection against her. And he is going for visitation rights. And these charges are so wrong.

Lord, You know the injustice she is facing, the false accusations, and the anxiety of the upcoming court date. We ask, God, that You be her advocate and her defense. May the truth be revealed and may justice prevail. Protect her heart and mind from fear and worry, and comfort her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We also pray for her ex-boyfriend and his mother, that their hearts would be convicted if they are acting unjustly, and that they would turn to You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Flora, we are reminded of Isaiah 41:10 (WEB), "Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." Your granddaughter can find strength and courage in the Lord.

We must also address that the context of this situation involves a relationship that is not aligned with God's will, as it is outside of marriage. We encourage your granddaughter to seek God's forgiveness if there has been any sin, and to trust in His mercy. 1 John 1:9 (WEB) says, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

Moreover, we advise your granddaughter to seek godly counsel and to pursue relationships that honor God. 2 Corinthians 6:14 (WEB) tells us, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"

so sorry to hear this.. no one should be taking anyone to court over a break up. what ever is going on should be between the boy and girl no parents involved, i had a similar ordeal with my daughter and her ex and his mom she was reading all their text messages and caused a big breakup. my heart goes out to you and her its hard to stand by and watch them suffer, most of the times they did nothing to deserve this. may god watch over you and her and i know he will help out in this ordeal remember you are both loved by god and this shall pass eventually
