We understand that you are seeking urgent intervention and protection from God's enemies, and we stand with you in prayer. Let us remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12, WEB).
Firstly, it is very important to pray in the name of Jesus. It is only by His name that we have access to God the Father. Furthermore, there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it says in the bible,
And in none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved! (Acts 4:12,WEB)
There is power in the name of Jesus. Let us pray together in the name of Jesus.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the mighty name of Jesus, seeking your divine intervention and protection. We ask that you surround us with your shield of faith, that we may be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one (Ephesians 6:16, WEB).
Lord, we have had enough of the enemy's schemes, and we ask that you do not let your enemies get away with their doings. We pray that you smite them all now with your mighty power, that your truths and justice will prevail against all enemy lies and darkness and that your truths come to light swiftly.
Remind us Lord that we do not need to fear, for you have given us the gates of hell shall not prevail against us (Matthew 16:18,WEB)
We ask God that you help us to be people that do not seek vengeance. We let you know that we are are angry and frustrated and we want to respond according to your Will and not our own. We recognize that vengeance is yours and we place our faith in the fact that you will bring your wrath according to your perfect will.
Dear believers, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to God's wrath, for it is written, Vengeance belongeth unto me; I will recompense, saith the Lord. (Romans 12:19,WEB).
We pray that you help us as believers to pursue peace and holiness even in challenging circumstances. We are to be people that seek to restore the relationship and bring the person to the Lord rather than seeking vengeance.
But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you, (Matthew 5:44,WEB)
If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men. (Romans 12:18,WEB)
However, we also recognize that there is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens:a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing, a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away, a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak, a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace.
Finally, we pray for your guidance and wisdom, that we may discern your will and walk in your ways. We ask for your grace to see ourselves and our brothers and sisters as you see us and to be a people that are led by the Holy Spirit and equipped with the full armor of God.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to remain steadfast in faith and trust in the Lord's promises. Let us also remember that the Lord has conquered the enemy and granted us victory. We should not be afraid to rebuke our brothers and sisters if they are behaving like our enemies. Jesus said that those who are not with Him are against Him.
He who is not with me is against me, and he who does not gather with me, scatters. (Matthew 12:30,WEB)
We ask you to examine yourselves and your brothers and sisters to see whether you and they are in the faith; test yourselves and them. Do you and they not realize that Christ Jesus is in you and them—unless, of course, you and they fail the test? (2 Corinthians 13:5,WEB)
We ask that you consider these scriptures and to test yourselves and those around you to see if you and they are in the faith.
