Regarding your desire for a godly husband, we pray that God will prepare both you and your future spouse for each other. Remember, "A wife is bound by law as long as her husband lives; but if the husband is dead, she is released from the law of her husband. So then if, while her husband lives, she is joined to another man, she would be called an adulteress. But if the husband is dead, she is free from the law, so that she is no adulteress, though she is joined to another man. Therefore, my brothers, you also were made dead to the law through the body of Christ, that you would be joined to another, to him who was raised from the dead, that we might produce fruit to God." I just said a prayer for you, friend. May the Lord work in your circumstances, bring some good friends into your life who will be a blessing to you, and show you His best plan as you look forward to the possibility of marriage. I hope you’ll be encouraged by this thought from the psalmist: "The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth." (Psalm 145: 18).
