Let us come together in prayer and compassion for Brett, your best friend's uncle, who is currently in the ICU due to a diabetic coma. We stand with you in faith, believing that our Lord is a God of miracles and healing.
Firstly, we acknowledge that it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we can be saved and come to God the Father for our prayers. And we can assure by His Word, Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come. If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows. Matthew 10:25-31.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Brett to Your throne of grace. We ask for Your divine intervention in his body, that You would miraculously heal him from this diabetic coma. We pray for his kidney function to be fully restored and for his vital signs to return to normal levels. Your Word tells us that You are the God who does wonders; Psalm 77:14.
Lord, we also pray for Brett's spiritual well-being, that You would draw him close to You during this time. If Brett does not already know Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, we pray that You would reveal Yourself to him in a powerful way, that he may come to salvation and eternal life, Acts 4:12 and Romans 3:23..
Father, we ask for Your peace and comfort to be with Brett's family and friends during this challenging time. Strengthen their faith and fill them with Your hope. Help them trust in Your goodness and Your power to heal and save. Remind us that when we are suffering, as the scripture says, that even Jesus Christ himself was a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: Isaiah 53:3.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we stand in agreement with our brother or sister in Christ who submitted this request, believing that You will restore Brett's health and bring glory to Your name. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. Matthew 18:20. We claim this by faith in His name. Amen.
Take heart, for the Lord hears our prayers and is faithful to His promises. Stand firm in faith, knowing that our God is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. Psalm 91:15 and Ephesians 3:20.
