We are truly sorry to hear about the challenges you are facing after your divorce. We will stand with you in prayer and provide some biblical encouragement.
Firstly, it's important to remember that God is our provider and He will supply all of our needs according to His riches in glory. and that God cares for us, Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:25-34 WEB:
"Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they?
"Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith?
"Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient."
In this passage, Jesus reminds us that God knows our needs and will provide for us. Instead of anxiety, we should focus on seeking God's kingdom and righteousness. The Word of God also promised He would supply all of our need according to His riches in Glory by Christ Jesus. Not our greed but our need will be met often in the form of provision and peace.
Regarding your financial struggles, we encourage you to trust in God's provision and to seek His guidance in your financial decisions. Pray that your ex-husband will fulfill his responsibilities, but also trust that God will provide even if your ex-husband fails to pay. We also pray that you will find a second job and were able to rely on God. It also would be wise to share your needs with brothers and sisters in Christ you trust who are also in the body of Christ. Your local body of believers may be able to help you and encourage you as well.
Psalm 37:25 WEB reminds us of His provision WEB
"I have been young, and now am old;
yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken,
nor his children begging for bread."
Additionally, we commend you for your desire to pay your tithes. This, being an act of obedience and honor towards the Lord, This act of faith will be likely to bless you. This desire to continue to obey and honor God even in adversity is commended and we pray for your obedience will be blessed. in Malachi said in Malachi 3:10 WEB:
"Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this," says Yahweh of Armies, "and see if I will not open the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it."
Finally, we want to remind you of the importance of praying in the name of Jesus. It is only through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace. If you have not already, consider accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Jesus said in John 14:6 WEB:
"Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." God wants us all the be saved and we mention this because we care.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Praxarotes in her time of need. We pray that you would and allow her life to go according to Your Word. We ask that You would move in the heart of her ex-husband to fulfill his responsibilities, and we pray that You would open up a second job opportunity for her. We ask that You would provide for all of her needs according to Your riches in glory, and that You would give her peace and contentment in Your provision. Oppressive debt from the difficulty in meeting payments weakens her resolve to do your will or may stifle the joy of her salvation, we ask for freedom from this in Jesus Name. Give Praxarotes wise counsel and help from those in the body of Christ she can trust. . We thank You for Your faithfulness and for being a loving provider. We ask all these things in Jesus' name, Amen.
