We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you're facing, and we want you to know that you are not alone. We are here to pray with you and encourage you in the name of Jesus Christ. In all things, remember while He allows trials, God is faithful, and He will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation He will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. Corinthians 10:13.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is always faithful, and in the WEB John 15:7 it says: If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it will be done for you. We encourage you to remain in Him, and trust in His perfect will for your life. In all things He works for our good Romans 8:28.
Regarding your employment situation, we encourage you to trust the word of the Lord, in Psalms 37:25 it says: I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread. Remember, God knows your needs, and it is only by His will and in Jesus' name we can receive what we need from God. It is only in the name of Jesus that we can approach God: John 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:13-14 Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it.
In the meantime, we encourage you to be wise with your finances and to seek help from your local church or Christian community. They may have resources and support available for you. Also, it is important to make sure your faith is solidly in Jesus Christ. In James 2:17 it says: Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead in itself. When people are in need, and you give them food, shelter, or other things, it is as if you are doing it to Jesus Matthew 25:34-45, and this is an important part of our lives as Christians.
Regarding your relationship, we want to encourage you to trust in God's timing and to seek His will for your life. In the WEB 2 Corinthians 6:14 it says: Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? It is important to be in courtship with someone that shares your faith and values, and to keep God at the center of your courtship. If you are not, then we strongly encourage you to reconsider your relationship and end any sexual relationship as it is fornication. God takes marriage very seriously and so should we. In Hebrews 13:4 it says: Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers. And whoever shall put away his wife, except for sexual infidelity, and marry another, commits adultery against whom there is only one husband, Jesus Christ. Mark 10:11-12.
We also encourage you to be open and honest with your courtship about your struggles, and to support each other in prayer and in seeking God's will for your lives. If you are not in courtship with this person, then consider that God may be wanting you to depend on Him instead of others. If you are in a dating / boyfriend / girlfriend relationship then you should consider if this is honoring to God. It is important to communicate with each other and to avoid things such as fornication and other temptations.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this dear soul in need of Your divine intervention. We know Lord that you are able, willing, and have the power to heal, supply, and provide. We pray over their finances, overdue bills, and job search. We pray for their courtship, that You would guide them and give them wisdom and discernment.
And we pray to You in the name of Jesus Christ, because it is only in His name we can come to You. It is only in His name we can be saved. And we thank You for Jesus Christ, and the love He had for us to die on the cross for our sins. We do not deserve salvation, but You freely give it to us. We pray for this person, that they would know You, Jesus Christ, and the power of Your resurrection.
We ask for all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We pray for your divine help and guidance during this challenging time. We ask that You would open the doors of opportunity and provision, and that You would give him/her the strength and courage to trust in You. We ask these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen!
We encourage you to continually seek God's will for your life, and to trust in His perfect timing. He loves you and will continue to be with you. We hope we can all rejoice together when God answers our prayers.
