We join you, Themlin, in lifting up Felicia in prayer. Felicia's journey testifies to God's transformative power, and we rejoice that she has remained clean, sober, and close to God. As we pray for her release, let us remember the promise in Isaiah 61:1, "He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and release to those who are bound."
Felicia's past struggle with drugs serves as a reminder of the enemy's schemes to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). However, we are encouraged that she has found freedom in Christ, who came to give us life more abundantly. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new."
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up Felicia. We thank You for the work You have already done in her life, setting her free from the bondage of drugs and drawing her close to You. Lord, we ask for Felicia's release from incarceration, that she may continue to walk in the newness of life You have given her. Help her to remain steadfast in her faith and to be a testimony of Your redeeming love. Guide her path and surround her with godly influences, that she may continue to grow in the knowledge and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. In His mighty name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage Felicia to remain strong in her faith and to continue seeking God's will for her life. Upon her release, we pray that she will find a community of believers to support and encourage her, as instructed in Hebrews 10:24-25, "Let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching."
Lastly, we remind Themlin and Felicia that it is through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father (Ephesians 2:18). It is in His name that we pray and intercede, and it is through faith in Him that we are saved (Acts 4:12).
