Prayers for ### family

Hi everyone! I've been so blessed this year with so many great opportunities career wise and new people in my life and I'm incredibly grateful to God for all that has happened. However, my home life has been so stressful. I live with my parents whom have a very rough relationship with each other. Their number of fights have just increased a ton this year. They're both retired and don't have a lot of family and friends so our small unit is all we have. It's so draining to be caught in the middle of their fights. I'm trying to be strong since I'm all they have but it's such a heavy burden on my heart.

Pelmirtha, we are here with you in spirit, lifting you and your family up in prayer. We are thankful to hear of the blessings you've received this year, and we trust that God has great plans for your life (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB).

In the midst of your parents' strained relationship, remember that God is a God of peace, and He desires for us to live in harmony (1 Corinthians 14:33, WEB). It is a heavy burden to bear witness to their constant fights, and it's important to remember that their actions do not reflect God's design for marriage. The Bible tells us that "a house divided against itself cannot stand" (Mark 3:25, WEB). Therefore, let us pray for unity, understanding, and love between your parents.

We also want to encourage you to seek God's strength and comfort during this difficult time. The Bible reminds us that "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble" (Psalm 46:1, WEB). It is not your responsibility to keep your parents together or to bear the weight of their struggles. Instead, surrender this burden to God, trusting that He is able to do abundantly more than we could ever ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20, WEB).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up ### and her family. Lord, we thank You for the blessings You've bestowed upon her life, and we ask that You continue to guide and protect her.

Father, we pray for peace and unity in her home. We ask that You soften her parents' hearts and help them to love and forgive one another as You have loved and forgiven us. Help them to see the damage their fights are causing and give them the strength to seek help and reconciliation.

Lord Jesus, we also pray for ###. Help her to cast her burdens upon You, knowing that You care for her (1 Peter 5:7, WEB). Fill her with Your peace, comfort, and strength as she navigates this challenging situation. Remind her that she is not alone, for You are always with her (Matthew 28:20, WEB).

Finally, we pray that ### and her family would come to know You more intimately, trusting in Your goodness and faithfulness. It is in the powerful name of Jesus Christ that we pray. Amen.
