Heavenly Father,
We come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up Gweniogh and the family during this time of profound grief and sorrow over the loss of their beloved son. Lord, Your Word says in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit." We ask that Your comforting presence be powerfully felt by this family, wrapping them in Your love and peace.
Father, we know that You are the God of all comfort, as Paul reminds us in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God." May Your comfort flow through friends and family, providing solace during this difficult time.
Lord, we also hold onto the promise found in Revelation 21:4, "He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away." We look forward to the day when grief and pain will be no more, and we thank You for the hope and assurance of eternal life through Jesus Christ.
Grant this family the strength to face each day, and let their faith in You be a source of hope and healing. Help them to lean on one another and to find comfort in Your everlasting arms.
In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.
