Oh, dear ###, our hearts go out to you and your friend ### during this challenging time. We are here to stand with you in prayer and remind you of God's unfailing love and strength.
Firstly, we commend you for bringing this request in Jesus' name, as it is through His name that we have access to the Father (John 14:13-14, WEB). Remember, Jesus is our hope and refuge in times of trouble (Nahum 1:7, WEB).
Depression can be a heavy burden to bear, but we are reassured by the promise that nothing can separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8:38-39, WEB). Let's come together and pray for ###.
**Prayer:**
*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother ###. Lord, You know the depth of his struggle and the heaviness in his heart. We ask for Your comfort and peace to fill him right now. Remind him of Your love and faithfulness, even in this dark valley.*
*God, we pray for healing and restoration. Give ### the strength to face each day, and help him to cast all his anxieties on You, knowing that You care for him (1 Peter 5:7, WEB). Guide him to people who can support and encourage him, and give him the courage to reach out for help when needed.*
*In Jesus' name, we rebuke the spirit of depression and despair. Lord, fill ### with Your joy and hope. Help him to fix his eyes on You, trusting that You have good plans for his life (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB).*

Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always honor, respect, and obey You. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
