We understand your concern for your daughter and we join you in prayer, seeking God's will for her life.
Let us pray: "Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up our daughter. She is feeling stressed and anxious about her career and living situation. Please comfort her and remind her of your unfailing love and presence in her life, as you promised in Hebrews 13:5, 'I will never leave you, nor forsake you.'
Father, we ask for your guidance in her career. May she trust in you and your plans for her, knowing that you have prepared good works in advance for her to do, as it is written in Ephesians 2:10. Help her to be patient and persistent, knowing that promotion comes from you alone, as Psalm 75:6-7 tells us.
Lord, we also ask for your provision regarding her living situation. As it is written in Matthew 6:25-34, remind her not to be anxious about what she will eat or drink, or about her body, what she will put on. For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that she needs them all. But let her seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to her.
Finally, we pray that she would know you more deeply and trust you more fully. If she has not already done so, we pray that she would come to know Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior, for it is only in his name that we have access to you, Father. As it is written in John 14:6, Jesus said, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage both you and your daughter to continue trusting in God's goodness and faithfulness. His ways are not our ways, and his thoughts are not our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9). He has a good, acceptable, and perfect will for her life (Romans 12:2), and he will direct her steps as she acknowledges him (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Be strong and courageous, knowing that the Lord is with you both. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God (Philippians 4:6). The peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
