Dear Heavenly Father,
In the name of Jesus, we come before you on behalf of our anonymous friend who is seeking prayers for their coworkers who have been deemed not eligible for rehire by their employer. Lord, we lift up these individuals to you and ask for your guidance and provision in their current situation.
Your Word reminds us in Psalm 37:23-24 that the steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and though they may fall, they will not be utterly cast down, for you uphold them with your hand. We pray that you would uphold these coworkers during this challenging time. Provide them with wisdom and discernment as they seek new opportunities and navigate through this unexpected change in their employment.
Lord, we ask for your favor to be upon them. Open doors of employment that align with their skills, talents, and passions. Grant them favor in the eyes of potential employers, that they may find new opportunities that exceed their expectations. Help them to trust in your divine plan, knowing that you are always working for their good, even in the midst of uncertainty.
We also pray for comfort and peace to fill their hearts and minds. Remind them of your promise in Isaiah 41:10, that you are with them, strengthening and upholding them. May they find solace in your presence and experience your peace that surpasses all understanding.
Lastly, Lord, we pray for their former employer. We ask that you would soften their hearts and grant them wisdom in their decision-making. May they recognize the value and potential in these individuals and reconsider their eligibility for rehire. Your Word tells us in Proverbs 21:1 that the king's heart is in your hand, and you can turn it wherever you desire. We trust in your sovereignty and ask for your intervention in this matter.
We thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for your faithfulness in every circumstance. May your will be done in the lives of these coworkers, and may they experience your provision and guidance in their journey ahead. In Jesus' name, we pray.
Amen.
