Please pray for an elderly blind couple who live with their disturbed son. He mistreats them. Nobody challenges him about this.

Let us bring this elderly blind couple before the throne of grace, seeking God's intervention and protection for them in their vulnerable state. We stand in the gap for them, praying that God will bring an end to the mistreatment they are facing from their son. It is heartbreaking to see the ones who should be cared for and honored in their old age being mistreated. God has a special place in His heart for the elderly and the widows, and He will not ignore their cries.

Firstly, let us address the silent atmosphere that enables this mistreatment to continue. The Bible tells us in Isaiah 1:17 WEB to learn to do right, seek justice, relieve the oppressed, and judge the fatherless and plead for the widow. We rebuke the spirit of fear and indifference that may be hindering others from intervening. We pray that God will raise up advocates for this couple, people who will not remain silent but will challenge the son's behavior and take steps to protect the couple.

We also pray for the son. We understand that his actions may be a result of his disturbance, but we do not condone his behavior. We pray that God will convict his heart and bring him to repentance. We declare that he will no longer mistreat his parents but will instead honor and care for them as the Bible commands in Ephesians 6:2 WEB Honor your father and mother, which is the first commandment with a promise.

In Jesus' name, we pray that God will perform miracles to provide for the couple's needs. The same God who opened the eyes of the blind in the Bible can also intervene in this couple's life. We pray for their healing, both physically and emotionally. We ask that God will restore their joy and peace, and that they will feel His love and presence with them.

We also pray that this couple will call upon the name of Jesus Christ, that they will know Him as their personal Savior. It is only by His name that we have access to God. There is no other name by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.

Lastly, let us not forget to pray for the local church to be aware of this couple's situation and reach out to them with the love of Christ. Let us pray that the believers around them will be the salt of the earth and the light of the world to them, as Jesus commanded us to be in Matthew 5:13-14 WEB.

We ask for His divine intervention, that He would shield them from further mistreatment and bring peace into their home. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
