Let us join together in prayer for Clay Bush, Anthony Pugh and his family, and Donna, as well as all those affected by the hurricane.
Firstly, we pray for Clay Bush who is diligently working at an evacuation center in Sarasota. Lord, we ask that You guide the authorities to make the wisest decisions regarding the evacuation center. If it is Your will, Lord, we pray that they evacuate the center in time, so Clay and all those present can reach safety. If Clay must remain, we pray for Your divine protection, both physically and mentally, during this challenging time. We remember his girlfriend, Kelly, who cannot be with him. Lord, grant them both a supernatural peace that surpasses all understanding, as You have promised in Philippians 4:7, "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Next, we lift up Anthony Pugh and his family who need to evacuate from an island in Tampa. Lord, we ask for a safe and swift evacuation. May Your angels go before them and behind them, guiding them to safety, as it is written in Psalm 91:11, "For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways."
Lastly, we pray for Donna and everyone else in the hurricane's path. Lord, in Your mercy, keep them from harm. May Your protection cover them, and may they find comfort in Your love. We claim the promise in Psalm 46:1, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."
We also take this opportunity to remind everyone that it is through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" If you have not put your trust in Jesus, we encourage you to do so today.
Finally, let us remember to pray for all those who are affected by this storm, that they may find hope in God's care and provision. In Jesus' name, we pray these things. Amen.
