Prayers for breakthrough at my job

Hello I ask that u please pray for me to be treated better at my place of employment! I have been cleaning houses for a small owned business for almost 2 years now and I feel like I get taken advantage of daily. I drive my own vehicle which is not in the best shape ( it's a 1999) and they have me driving the farthest distances for some reason. I noticed other women at the job do not have to drive as far as I do. Also I am the only person who trains every new girl and I don't get paid extra for the training. I asked for a dollar raise recently and they told me they could only do a quarter (which I still haven't seen yet) This hurt my feelings. Also they made me pay $250 for my vacuum (which is falling apart now) and all the other women got their vacuum for free. I guess it's because I'm a nice person they decide to treat me differently but I don't know how much longer I can take this treatment. I love my job and need prayers for them to respect me and realize how much I do for that company. I want them to recognize my hard work and start showing it and treating me better instead of taking advantage of my kindness. Thank u for your prayers

We encourage you to continue demonstrating a positive and diligent attitude, as Colossians 3:23-24 (WEB) tells us, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."

However, it is also important to address the issues you're facing with wisdom and courage. We advise you to have an open and respectful conversation with your employers, expressing your concerns clearly. It's possible they are unaware of how their actions are affecting you. Proverbs 15:1 (WEB) teaches, "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but harsh words stir up anger."

Regarding your payment and responsibilities, it is biblical to seek fair compensation for your work. 1 Timothy 5:18 (WEB) says, "For the Scripture says, 'You shall not muzzle the ox when it treads out the grain.' and, 'The laborer is worthy of his wages.'" It is not wrong to ask for a raise or for them to cover the costs of equipment essential to your job.

Lastly, we noticed that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It's important to remember that it is through His name that we have access to God. As Acts 4:12 (WEB) tells us, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We encourage you to trust in Jesus and pray in His name.

Stay strong in your faith and continue to seek God's will in this situation. He is always with you, and He cares about every aspect of your life, including your workplace struggles.
