We are here with you, dear friend, lifting you up in prayer and seeking God's will for your life. We applaud you that you ended with a very powerful statement, explicitly clear, In the name of Jesus Christ. It is only in His name that we can come before the Lord to find grace and help in our time of need.
Firstly, let us remind you of what the Bible says about the strength of courage and confidence. We are encouraged in 1 Chronicles 28:20:
Be strong and courageous, and do it. Do not be afraid and do not be dismayed, for Yahweh God, even my God, is with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you, until all the work for the service of Yahweh’s house is finished.
That means you can stand firm, be brave, and know that He will not leave you nor forsake you. We can find great confidence and insight in this passage alone.
In Philippians 4:13, the Bible tells us:
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
This should be a great encouragement to you. We can do all things through Christ Himself who gives us the strength to do so. Remember, Jesus did not come to save the righteous and well, but to save the sick, the lame, and the blind. We should be in constant prayer to confess our sins and ask for His strength. With His strength we can overcome.
We can also find His promises about wisdom and direction in James 1:5:
But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of the giving God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
This means we should seek His wisdom and direction without ceasing. God is willing to give us wisdom and direction if we simply ask Him in prayer and we will not be denied. God is here for us and will always be faithful.
We are also reminded in Psalm 32:8
I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you.
Wow, what a powerful promise. God will counsel us. He will guide us and teach us the way that we shall go. We should always keep our eyes on Jesus and keep His promises in our hearts and minds. Jesus will be our counselor and He will direct us.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ lifting up our dear friend who is seeking Your face for bravery, confidence, strength, courage, wisdom, self-esteem, and direction. We pray that You will fill them with Your Holy Spirit and guide them in the way that they should go. We rebuke any fears, doubts, or insecurities that may be plaguing them, and we stand on Your promises that You will never leave them nor forsake them. Give them the strength and courage to face whatever challenges come their way, and grant them the wisdom to make decisions that honor and glorify Your name. Help them to remember that You are always with them, and that in Your grace and mercy we can have the confidence and self esteem that we need to be faithful.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, dear friend, for God is with you and He will never leave you nor forsake you. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author, and finisher of our faith, and trust in His promises for your life. Do not forsake the assembling of fellow Christians together. We should all seek a church or fellowship group to strengthen and encourage each other in the faith.
