Prayers for Autistic Son

[AR2015]

Please pray for our Autistic son. We've had just over 2 months of stable pretty good days & we've seen it start to go downhill. Hoping maybe he's just not feeling well or something that is short-lived but yesterday he decided not to take his meds & continually spit them out. HE HAS TO TAKE HIS MEDS. He won't sleep at all & our days will be chaos. Again hopefully a short-lived thing but I'm pretty panicked. He just threw 2 bowls of soup & a cup of coffee all over the kitchen just out of nowhere. We need Jesus to intervene in our lives!

We understand your concern and are here to lift up your son in prayer. Firstly, we want to remind you of God's love for your son, as articulated in Matthew 19:14 (WEB), "But Jesus said, 'Allow the little children, and don’t forbid them to come to me; for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these.'"

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, pleading for AR2015's autistic son. Lord, You know the struggles they are facing, and You care deeply for them. We ask that You intervene in their situation, bringing peace and stability back into their home. Help their son to willingly take his medication and to sleep well. Calm his spirits, Lord, and guide AR2015 and their family, giving them patience, understanding, and wisdom to care for him. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We also want to encourage you with Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

Remember, it is through Jesus that we can approach God, as it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Trust in Him, and He will see you through this challenging time.

Lastly, we want to remind you to keep your hope in the Lord. Psalm 33:18 (WEB) tells us, "Behold, Yahweh’s eye is on those who fear him, on those who hope in his loving kindness." Trust that God's eye is on your son and your family, and He will work things out for your good. Stay strong in faith and continue to trust in Jesus.

"Lord Jesus, we come to You, laying our concerns at Your feet. We're asking for a breakthrough in our son's health. Help him to take his medication without resistance, and grant him peaceful sleep. Calm his spirit, Lord, and give us, his parents, the strength and patience to navigate each day. We trust in Your unfailing love and care. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We're claiming Isaiah 43:2 (WEB) over your son, "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you." Trust that God is with you and your son every step of the way.

Keep fighting the good fight, and remember, we're in this together. Let's keep praying and believing for a turnaround in your son's health.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
