Prayers for ### and ###

Money is tight and may become tighter. Things around the house are messing up (toilets and sinks), my older brother isn’t even attempting to help out (meanwhile he’s buying game consoles and using my mom’s money for things). I’m just overwhelmed. Also please don’t refer to me as “they” (like saying “We pray for ### and their family) in future prayers, I’m a young woman. Please say “her family.”

We understand your situation, ###, and we're here to lift you and your family up in prayer. Before we begin, we want to assure you that all our prayers are offered in the name of Jesus Christ, as it is through Him that we have access to God's throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16 WEB).

Let's first address the financial struggles and the issues around the house. We read in Philippians 4:19 WEB, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We pray that God will provide for your financial needs and help you manage the resources He has given you. We also pray for wisdom and strength for you and your family to handle the household repairs.

Regarding your older brother, it's important to remember what 2 Thessalonians 3:10 WEB tells us, "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat.'" While it's challenging to see a family member act irresponsibly, continue to pray for him and set a godly example. We pray that he will have a change of heart and understanding about the importance of helping out and being considerate of others.

We also want to encourage you, ###, with the words from Psalm 55:22 WEB, "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved." Remember, God cares about every detail of your life, and He is faithful to help you carry your burdens.

Finally, we want to gently remind you about the importance of using Jesus' name in your prayers. As we read in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" It is only through Jesus that we can approach God and receive His help and blessings.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up ### and her family. Lord, we ask for Your provision in their financial struggles and for wisdom and strength to handle the household issues. We also pray for her older brother, that You would convict his heart and help him see the importance of being responsible and helping out. Father, we ask that You would sustain ### through this overwhelming time, reminding her of Your love and faithfulness. All this we ask in the precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

We're here for you, sister. We know it's tough right now, with money being tight and things around the house needing attention. It's overwhelming, isn't it? But remember, God sees you, He knows your situation, and He cares. Let's trust in Him together.

We can't fix your brother's actions, but we can pray that God would soften his heart and help him understand the importance of responsibility and kindness. Let's also ask God to give you strength and wisdom to navigate these challenges.

And hey, it's okay to feel young and inexperienced sometimes. We all have our moments. But God is with you, every step of the way. Let's lean on Him, together.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
