We understand your concern for Adrianos' health and we join you in prayer, seeking God's intervention in his life.
Firstly, we are reminded of how precious our bodies are to God. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (WEB), "Or donβt you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are Godβs." With this in mind, we pray for Adrianos to understand the importance of caring for his body, as it is a temple of the Holy Spirit.
Let us pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before you in the name of Jesus to lift up Adrianos. Lord, we ask that you help him to gain weight, to become stronger and healthier, for your glory. We also plead with you to deliver him from the bondage of smoking. Give him the strength and determination to overcome this habit, and replace it with a desire to honor his body as your temple.
Lord Jesus, you tell us in Matthew 11:28-30 (WEB), 'Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.' We claim this promise for Adrianos, that he may find rest and strength in you as he seeks to overcome these challenges.
We ask this in Jesus' precious name, amen."
We encourage Adrianos to meditate on God's word and seek His strength in this journey. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we find salvation and the power to overcome the challenges of this world. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
