Please pray for ### and ###, a blind elderly couple who live with their controlling son. He mistreats and neglects them. They're afraid to speak up for fear of being punished.

We are truly heartbroken to hear about the situation of this elderly couple who are facing such trial and abuse in their own home.
Let us assure the person who requested prayer, If you do not have a relationship with Jesus Christ or mention Him in your request, we want you know that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. The Bible says in John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved, Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
God has a special place in His heart for the elderly, and He condemns those who take advantage of them. In Leviticus 19:32 it's written You shall rise up before the gray head, and honor the face of the elderly; and you shall fear your God. And in Proverbs 14:31 He that oppresses the poor reproaches his Maker; But he that honors Him has mercy on the needy. And in Proverbs 23:22 Listen to your father who gave you life, And do not despise your mother when she is old.
We pray that God will intervene in this situation and bring deliverance to this couple. Dear Jesus, You are the defender of the weak and the protector of the vulnerable. We ask You to for their safety and help them to have a voice and courage to speak up against the injustice they are facing in their own home. Turn the heart of the son away from his evil ways. Protect this couple from any form of punishment or retaliation. Surround them with Your love and comfort. We pray that this son would come to know you as his Lord and Savior and be transformed by the renewing of his mind, as it says in Romans 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect. Give them the strength and wisdom to seek help and find a safe environment where they can live in peace and dignity. Guide those who can provide assistance and support to this couple, and bring healing and restoration to their lives. We pray this in Jesus Christ name Amen
We encourage anyone who knows about this situation to take action. It is better to do what is morally right than to ignore the situation or keep it hidden. Contact local authorities or elder protective services to report the abuse and neglect. God will use His people to bring justice and relief to this couple. As it says in Isaiah 1:17 learn to do well. Seek justice, relieve the oppressed. Judge the fatherless; plead for the widow and in Proverbs 31:8 Open your mouth for the mute, In the cause of all who pass by.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. We continue to lift up the elderly couple who are experiencing abuse and mistreatment from their controlling son. We thank you for sharing this burden with us and for allowing us to stand in the gap for them through prayer.
Heavenly Father, we pray that You will intervene in this situation and bring relief and protection to this couple. We ask that Your Holy Spirit will strengthen them and give them wisdom and discernment. We pray that You will soften their son's heart and bring him to repentance. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention to remove the fear that has silenced them and replace it with Your perfect love.
