Prayers for a successful visit to the dentist on 24th September 2024

Tomorrow I will be going to the dentist. I have a massive fear over them especially as I might need a filling.

I will also be having my teeth cleaned which is a painful procedure for me as my teeth and gums are sensitive.

Please pray for me and for the visit to be successful.

We understand your anxiety, Korsham, and we want to assure you that God is with you even in this seemingly small but important matter. The Bible tells us, "Don't be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB)

Firstly, we notice that you didn't mention the name of Jesus in your prayer request. It's important to remember that it is through Him that we have access to God. As the Bible says, "For 'whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'" (Romans 10:13 WEB) and "In no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB)

Now, let's pray for your visit to the dentist:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Korsham. Lord, You know the anxiety they are feeling about their dentist appointment tomorrow. We ask that You will grant them peace, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB)

We pray for the dentist, that their hands may be skilled and gentle. We ask that the cleaning and any necessary procedures will be comfortable and free of pain. We pray for strength and courage for Korsham, that they may face this appointment with confidence, knowing that You are with them.
