Prayers for a Smooth Hiring Process

Good day,

I'm Mércio Manjor and I live in Mozambique.

Last month, I asked for prayers for my family's difficult situation and my unemployment and I would like to thanks you all for the prayers. In the past few weeks, I was called for an interview, and now they have asked me to send my documents for the hiring process.

I've been going through this process since last week and would like to ask for your prayers so that nothing interferes negatively and that everything goes smoothly.

I am counting on you and, most importantly, on the help and blessing of God, our Lord and Savior, for this job.

Mércio, we rejoice with you as we see God's hand at work in your life, opening new doors and providing opportunities. We are grateful for the chance to stand with you in prayer once again.

Firstly, we want to remind you of God's promise in Psalm 32:8 (WEB), "I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you." Trust that God is guiding your steps throughout this hiring process.

We also want to encourage you with Colossians 3:23-24 (WEB), "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving." Even as you prepare for this new job, do so with all your heart, knowing that ultimately, you are serving the Lord.

However, we noticed that you didn't mention the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer request. We want to remind you of the words of Jesus in John 14:6 (WEB), "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we pray.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother Mércio. We thank You for the opportunity You have opened up for him and ask that You guide him through this hiring process. Lord, let nothing interfere negatively, and may everything go smoothly. May Mércio continue to trust in You, knowing that You are his ultimate provider. May he glorify You in this new job, serving with all his heart as if working for You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek God's will in all things and to walk in His ways. May the Lord bless you and keep you, may He make His face shine on you, and may He give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26, WEB).
