Beloved of All
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, I humbly ask for your prayers in my time of struggle. I was born into a Muslim family and given an Arabic name, but I gave my life to Jesus at 16. Though I fell into sin and strayed, the Lord freed me when I was baptized by the Holy Spirit. I now live as a refugee in a Muslim country where I have no basic human rights—no right to live freely, work, have a bank account, a driver's license, or even legally marry the woman I love. For 15 years, I have endured hardship. As a teenager, I worked tirelessly in restaurants while studying to support myself and my family. Now, as I seek a stable and lawful future, I continue to face financial and legal struggles. I long to move to another country where I can build a new life with my fiancée, but every path seems blocked. I have prayed, fasted, and wept before the Lord, seeking a way out. I was drawn to Orthodox Christianity and set up an altar in my home, but my trials persist. Recently, I found an opportunity for refugee students to study abroad with full financial support. I worked hard and exceeded the English test requirement, scoring 125 out of 160 when only 105 was required. Yet, my application was unfairly rejected without a clear reason. My appeal has gone unanswered, and UNHCR is taking forever to process my case. To make things harder, I don’t have any friends or a church community here. I tried joining a church, hoping for spiritual support, but when I shared my situation, they refused to pray for me or help me spiritually. This was very painful and disappointing, but I know that Christ never abandons those who seek Him. My heart is broken. I feel abandoned and unsure of what to do next. Please, I ask for your prayers—for legal clarity, financial stability, and strength in my relationship. Pray that God opens a door for me, that I may finally have the chance to live freely, work, and marry the woman I love. May His mercy and justice prevail in my life. Thank you for your prayers. May God bless you all.
